And it wasn't because of the snow, but because the power went out and there was no heat. But they built some great snowmen on the playground! We spent last year in Conway, Arkansas, and they cancelled school for half inch of snow--remember how that works! But it was fun.
BTW, you know I was just kidding with my question, right?Keciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00188826846417951616noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18299306.post-17698596896888426562008-01-20T03:01:00.000-07:002008-01-20T03:01:00.000-07:00I am just praying for some snow this year! The night before we are to take Hannah to the airport.
The predictions of ice/snow were so bad for overnight that we packed everyone up and headed south to spend the night in Atlanta. So FINALLY the kids have snow and we had to leave it behind!

We get SO little snow in Georgia that when it hits EVERYONE is so excited...BUT life shuts down, as not many know how to drive in it. Plus we usually have the ice underneath.

I am glad you got a snow day with the kids!Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01124097125667553300noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18299306.post-69575845091264679822008-01-16T20:29:00.000-07:002008-01-16T20:29:00.000-07:00I'm a Southern girl, too, and was totally amazed t...I'm a Southern girl, too, and was totally amazed the whole 4 years we lived in MT, there was not one single snow day. So, no kids in school--but its GREAT having him home!!!! Living near Stephanie in RI, he was home Monday for really no snow--but I am not complaining!Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10895108064130276919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18299306.post-51438395182372134962008-01-16T08:32:00.000-07:002008-01-16T08:32:00.000-07:00School let out here for basically nothing. It really was ridiculous.

You'll be glad you haven't had so many snow days when school lets out on time in May (schools around here go until the middle of JUNE! because they get out for everything!).Stephanie Kayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02976709475515458563noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18299306.post-7849247353982862382008-01-16T08:18:00.000-07:002008-01-16T08:18:00.000-07:00way to rejoice in what could be otherwise construe...way to rejoice in what could be otherwise construed as an inconvenience!

enjoy your snow day!His Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13615344417588586576noreply@blogger.com
