Please write a post about it - it might give me courage!

Also, my girls are only 4 and 6 and I often wonder why on earth I still need to help them clean their room! (I should lighten up a bit, eh?) Your girls might be too old for this, but it helps them A TON when I make a checklist for them. I have to illustrate our list since Emma's not a great reader yet, but they do 20x better when they have a check list. (Me too, for that matter - and I know that goes for you too!) I want to get my husband to watch it with me. He always insists that "organic" and "free range" and things along those lines are just marketing tools. And that I should not buy into them :) I actually love most all meats, and I'm afraid after seeing some or most of Food Inc, that I might not be able to eat meat again :(

Wish we had a CSA here, but alas, it's the rural South! :) I do need to make an effort to go to the Farmer's Market and not just get veggies at Kroger or Walmart. I do have a tendency to "check-in" with them while they're doing it to make sure it is up to my standards:)

I'm home alone this weekend. So far I'm down 11 pounds! :) But I'm really, really, really wanting a glass of iced sweet tea. I'm resisting the craving (since I'd have to go to the store to buy tea) and planning that to be my treat when I hit my goal weight.

My Will (7) received the same diagnosis just this week. We've order glasses and hope that will be enough to help his eye improve. If not he'll be getting an eye patch. About all he could read with his "bad" eye was the giant E. But the other eye is almost perfect.

Release the mommy guilt!
