Oh, The Weather Outside is Frightful

This morning it was sunny and almost 40 degrees. Then the front blew in and now it looks like this...

The snow is piling up quickly out there. I'm so thankful everyone, including John, is home and warm and safe! I think we're going make something yummy for dinner and watch a movie later. I *heart* Fridays!

Meredith, I hopped over via His Girl and Moments...

I'm so glad I did. I've been reading your December posts and you've brought back some lovely memories for me. We lived in Castle Rock till almost 7 years ago when we moved to the Seattle area. Your pictures of the North Pole, including the Santa(I think he's the same one!), really reminded me of the one visit we had there when my kids were itty bitty. Looks like we read a lot of the same blogs, too.

Blessings to your family this Christmas season.

I hope you are feeling better.

I know the temps are probably so cold and miserable, but will trade with you - it was 75 today. Snow at Christmas must be so much fun.

You and Mike have the same crud. I hate sickness at Christmas! Hope it goes away soon.
We had the best kind of Friday night last night, too (except for Mike being sick.) We decorated Christmas cookies then watched "It's a Wonderful Life." We were cozy even without snow! ;)

My girls would be so jealous! They keep asking me if it's going to snow for Christmas, and I try to explain that it's highly unlikely in Mississippi!

I love when it snows on Friday after my hubs is home from work! Then we don't have to worry about going anywhere on the icy roads!
