Our day started our with a little festive fun--pink, heart-shaped pancakes. They were a hit. Even if a few of them looked a lot more like Africa than a heart.
After I dropped my last kiddo at school, I met John for a Valentine breakfast date. We had a family dinner date last night and sadly, our week is full and busy and this is the only time we could manage for the two of us. Still, it was wonderful...I love dates with him!
In a few minutes I'm heading to a third grade Valentine party where we'll be making some Valentine Love Bugs. They're really homemade chia pets. And I'm still waiting for my "samples" to start sprouting some hair! My super-creative friend, Jen, gave me the idea...and the grass seed. Thanks, Jen.
After the party, it's home for dinner and homework and showers and all that other ordinary stuff that everyday life is comprised of. And I wouldn't trade any of it for the world. I'm feeling very blessed today.
Hope your Valentine's Day is full of lovely things!
