Football Fiasco

I love Razorback football. And I am NOT a fickle fan. I stick with the Hogs through thick and thin, but this season is feeling particularly thin and I'm trying hard to maintain my enthusiasm for them from 1000 miles away. I'm so bummed they lost to Auburn tonight...and in the last 30 seconds too! Ugh. This was the one and only home game I really wanted to go to. And now, I'm glad it didn't work out for me to fly home for it. I would have been hugely disappointed. At least LSU lost to Kentucky. That eases my pain a bit!

My hubby isn't too pleased with them right now either. We just watched the game too. Actually, I listened to it from in here at the computer but I heard all the penalties and other fiasco-ness. *Sigh.....*

Hopefully next week they'll do better with Ol' Miss.

I agree, it was a bummer day in sports ~ football AND baseball. What's the deal with teams blowing it in OT/extra innings?

Hopefully the Hogs will pull it together soon!

I'm a Hogs fan too. (After the OU Sooners...I'm an OK native.)My mom is a Razorback (she grew up in Searcy). We live in the heart of Auburn country, so I was really hoping for a Razorback win. I wanted to rub it in a little.
My hubby is a Gator fan, so he of course was thrilled by LSU's loss to KY. Fl plays Ky next week, so he's hoping for a big victory.

So do you think they'll fire Houston? Mike thinks Arkansas and Texas A & M will be in a bidding war for Tubberville (sp?). It's so much more fun when our teams won. But...Ark and A & M could end up playing each other in Shreveport at the Independence Bowl. Wouldn't that be a hoot!
