I can't believe I'm about to do this...

I was a little afraid to check my feed reader when we returned from vacation. I didn't do any blog reading for 12 days, and I was behind before I left, but when I logged on and saw that I had 634 un-read posts, I wanted to cry.

I've spent some time the last two days trying to catch up on all that I missed, but honestly, I just can't keep up.

Every time I knock the number down a bit, I log back on and see it's gone back up again.

So...I'm going to do something that goes against everything in me. I'm going to "Mark All Read" and start at zero. My family always teases me about never wanting to miss anything, and it's SO true which is why it pains me to clear my reader and start over.

Forgive me. Please.

Yes, it can be hard to start from zero when you actually don't want to miss out on anything. It's really hard for me when I've got to do that. No worries, though. All will be well (:

Really, Meredith...it will be fine. I'm the same way though...I'm so nosey! I don't want to miss anything either! :)

I do love Google Reader, but sometimes it gets a little overwhelming!

I just hooked up with Google reader, and for some reason, I can't get it to find your blog. However, I check in with you daily anyway.

Re: the "all read"--don't sweat it. After all, you can always go in and read older posts if you really think you might've missed something. Enjoy the clean slate.

I can relate, Mer. I feel really "behind" right now and am just checking in for a few minutes here and there.

We're trying the ice cream today!!

I do not blame you - it can get WAY too overwhelming some times!

I totally hear you! It gets to be very overwhelming!

You didn't miss much at my blog... i was gone for almost a week and haven't blogged much... I did have a fun scrapbook supply post, otherwise, not much :)

Meredith, I did the same thing. Really, I just checked the blogs of my close personal friends when I*ve been on vacation.

Oh, I stole your idea of the road trip best and worst. I hope you don't mind! I adapted it a bit though. Glad you had a fun girl's day!

Oh, you are SO forgiven! I haven't even been gone and I'm behind. There's no way I'll catch up... maybe I'll take your lead! (Plus, I feel like I can't do my own blogging until I've caught up. Now, what fun is THAT?!)

Oh, that's why you're getting all these comments from me all at once... I'm playing catch-up! :)
