Just Remember: Curiosity Killed the Cat (Comments Now Closed)

I told you earlier this week that I'm feeling blah about the "blahg". Really, really blah.

I decided to ask you all for some help...er...some blog fodder.

Here's your chance to ask me a question. Anything you're dying to know?

I've done this before (January 2008) and I received a lot of questions. It took me awhile to work through them, but it definitely helped me get my blogging brain back on track.

So....ask away.

I do reserve the right to censor the questions. Or not answer them at all. Keep 'em nice, y'all.

Happy Friday. Hope you're weekend is shaping up to be a good one. I'll be back on Sunday with 10 on the 10th!

***LOVIN' the questions you've come up with so far! I'll take a few more and then close comments to ensure they all get answered!***

Okay, I have one. Just because I knew you when you were an Arkansan.

But I don't remember you being super into recycling and eating organic when you lived here. Has that been a change for your family since you moved? Or were you into that here and I just didn't know?

What is your make up regimen/product line. Because honestly, your face looked so flawless and beautiful when I saw you. And because I'm shallow, I want me summathat. Please don't tell me it's your natural genes. Because I'm shallow, and I want me summathat.

Oh, I've been wanting to ask you about books for children -- especially boy children. My son enjoys reading, but is having trouble finding interesting fiction books for boys.

Was it hard to be a Pastor's wife? Did it mean you had to be friends with everyone and couldn't just have best friends in your church? Did you feel like people expected you to be super spiritual and have it all together? (Of course maybe you were...in which case disregard this question).
Those are my burning questions for the day.

How about a picture post of things you wear when:

You go to carpool
You go out with your hubby
You want to dress up
You want to veg out
You go hiking

Here's a few get-to-know-you-better questions from a game I played with my girls this week:

*if you could change your name, what would you change it to and why?
*what is the best Christmas/Birthday gift you've ever received and why?
*what is your dream job?
*what is your favorite Disney movie?

What kind of crafts to you like to dabble in? (I mean when you have time)
Also thanks for putting that Bible reading in your blog...I printed it off and will actually start it today. (I had good reason to start it the other day however...time got away from me)

Love CPQ 's idea.

How did you come up with your kids' names?

How did you find out about the book,
THE HELP?

(I only have 100 pages to go, but this is my favorite book of ALL TIME- and I read A LOT of books.) I seriously do want to know how you came upon it and I'm so very thankful you said something about it in your blog. I'm so very sad to be almost done. I'm reading VERY SLOWLY so I can savor it. I love Minny so much, I want her to be real. :)

Kelly in Michigan (ps any other favorite books-so I have something to look forward to?)

Ok you are so brave to let people ask you whatever they want! I am wearing smart wool socks. I didn't even know I had them but I saw them in my sock drawer this morning and remember how warm you said they were. Yes, yes, yes. Love them. What else do you love? No TJ stuff-I can't get that here! ha

How did you meet your husband? What's your "love story"?! I'm also interested in the questions about your kids names and favorite books for you/your kids. This is fun!

I don't have any questions so I am not much help. However, I do look forward to reading the answers.

Just a side note....but, I love the recipes you shared! Thanks so much for posting them and the cooking tips! I'm still trying to grow in that area but, you were a GREAT help!

Okay, I have a 6 year old son 3 year old daughter and 9 month old son and I'm trying to start a book list of things I should read to them! Any tips!?!

Also, since I know you love books and library (like me) I'm love to list of your favorite books!

How did you and John meet and marry?

Why is slow pace of life so important to you? I find it really rare these days to hear someone who values slowing down the pace?

Do you think you and John will ever write a book together on marriage or parenting?

How do you celebrate your kid's birthdays? Family style parties or friend parties? Big or small?

This is my first year to recycle. It has grown on me...thanks to reading about it from you! :)

Okay, have you or do you plan to talk to your kids about sexual purity? What resources will you use or recommend? What age do your recommend discussing this with your kids?

What tips do you offer for someone (me) who needs to loose weight and it feels overwhelming! How do you find the discipline to not eat sugar during your sugar fasts? What do you eat or cook when you are limiting or staying away from sugar? Does your husband and kids do the no sugar thing too? Or do you cook two types of food?

Thanks but, seriously no pressure to answer all my questions! Sorry I'm so nosey! :)

If you still have one that you just can't let go unanswered, leave it in the comments of another post and I'll TRY to answer eventually. :)
