Let's do that again!

I thought your comments and the poll results from this post were so fun that I'm thinking of featuring a new poll every weekend! Or at least until I get bored with the idea or run out of questions.

John and I are approaching our 20th wedding anniversary. We're planning a celebration trip and the destination has changed a gazillion times lately, but I think we both know where we want to go and are going to try to book it very soon! Y-A-Y!!! I'd tell you where we're going, but then I'd have to kill you.

So, my poll question is this: If you were planning a week-long getaway with your spouse, what would your ideal destination be? For the sake of the question, let's assume that time and money are not obstacles.

If you're reading this post in a reader, you'll have to click over to see the poll. Go!

-----------------
Don't know why the poll disappeared! Strange. The site is down so maybe it will magically reappear when things are working again!?!

Those are great choices...I wouldn't mind going on a couple trips to those different places. :)

I voted the beach. But specifically Kauai, Hawaii. We went a few years ago and I'd LOVE to go back.

We are going to Turks and Caicos (beaches unlimited) for 12 days and leaving in a few weeks. The beach is always a time to get refreshed and renewed for us. We love living in Colorado, but this will be such a nice change of scenery and change of weather in the middle of March. We have worked really hard to get it all paid ahead of time, which makes it even more enjoyable and we are so excited. Have a wonderful anniversary and trip! Blessings!

Give me sun, sand, and a fruity umbrella drink.

We will also be celebrating our 20th anniversary in about 3 months. No dream trips, finances won't allow, but I'm hoping for a weekend at a nearby state park. Give me lots of trees and a lake to gaze at and I'm a happy girl.

I clicked the passport one because european travel is my favorite, but a second runner up will always be the mountains *sigh*

Passport all the way, baby. We like to go places neither of us has been and then hit the ground to explore, explore, explore.

Second choice would have been bright lights, big city. I married an ADD guy. Can't have more than three hours of downtime :)

The beach! Especially after the weather we've been having. I've decided our next move better be to the beach!

@hisgirl. Wha???? What about Whidbey? How soon she forgets. :)

Ummmm...One word: MAUI.

It's funny, though, our big beachy week-long vacay will have to wait a little longer. Our 20th is going to be prolly just an over-nighter, but that's okay. Can't really find someone around here that I'd sic the kids on for more than a day or 2. I think we'll either go to our beach house ALONE, or perhaps take a boat up to Victoria. Can't complain, though...taking the kids to the UK this summer on China flight miles.

A mountain cabin with no one around for miles.

I'd love to say the beach, but I'm pale and can't swim so it's the mountains for us everytime. Okay, so most of the time it's supper and a movie, but we can always dream!

Well, considering we took our 10-year anniversary trip to Kauai in September, I voted beach!

And since you said, "If you were planning a week-long getaway with your SPOUSE...", I had no choice but to choose beach (if I want him to come along)! I'd love a cozy week snowed in at a little mountain cabin, but somehow I married a guy who hates the mountains. I could cry. No, I didn't know that when we got married. Yes, we only dated three months before getting engaged (and got married four months later).

Good thing I like the beach too, or else we'd take separate vacations! (Kidding, kidding.)
