A girl can hope, right?

Got up this morning and remembered that it was Groundhog Day. A quick glance outside at the snow falling made me hope that Mr. Groundhog would not see his shadow and proclaim that spring was on it's way.

Sigh. Six more weeks of winter for us.

I guess now I can hope it's really only six more weeks. Because experience tells me it's more like 8-10. Big sigh.

Hang in there, Girlfriend! How I feel your pain. At least the days are getting longer...

I think the 8-10 weeks is our estimate too, since we're in Minnesota.

I agree with Gretchen -- at least the days are getting longer! That sun makes all the difference.

My husband were out walking in the cold wind with our little guy in the pram. My husband was wishing to be in Colorado where the sun shines. He claims we haven't seen the sun since we have been back (Jan 1st). Sigh!

I used to look forward to bare feet, now I look forward to a lighter coat. *sigh*

Ugh. I'm right there with you. I think when I told my husband yesterday that the groundhog saw his shadow, it sent him into the spiraling depths of winter blues. Oh well - I still love it here! :)
