Tell Me I'm Not Alone!

Do you ever feel like your house just explodes? I've been cleaning this morning, and I cannot-for-the-life-of-me figure out where all this stuff comes from. I am a pretty neat person. I keep our home relatively clean and orderly, but I am overwhelmed by all the dust, dirt, debris, toys, paper, and laundry that has accumulated over the last few days. Man! Please tell me your house explodes too!

And does anyone want to fill me in on LOST last night? I fell asleep mid-way thru and all I remember is John waking me up shortly after 9pm and telling me I'd probably be more comfortable in bed. I'm more confused about LOST now than ever!

You are not alone. I say the same thing when I clean. Where does it all come from?!?!

Honey, I feel.your.pain. Just set the timer and start one thing at a time.

My house is sort of an earthquake zone, too, so I better vacuum the mounds of dog hair as a start...

Have a great weekend.

Oh my house - I feel like all I do is pick up and then I have to do it all again the next day!

I would be happy to fill you in on Lost. But I thought I would give you this option first. You can go to http://abc.go.com/, then in the lower right hand corner click on the lost button and you can watch the whole episode on-line.

If you do not want to do that - email me and I'll fill ya in! It was a good one!

Yes! My house has completly gone crazy. I have a dining room full of clean laundry that I was going to fold and put away on Tuesday, a bedroom and laundry room full of dirty clothes and don't even get me started on the bathrooms! I just know when I can play catch up! I feel for you! Just ignore it and go for a hike - isn't it beautiful out!

Laundry, dishes, and my daughter's room! That'w where it has 'exploded'. LOL In fact, I just cleaned her room this morning before preschool, then 10 minutes ago I walked in and all her barbies and dolls were all over the floor. Funny thing is that she told me she was playing with her Groovy Girls. I couldn't find them! LOL

Every. Single. Weekend. I've decided it multiplies when I'm sleeping. I've told my husband the day he starts making $100,000 a year is the day I hire a housekeeper. = ) We both know that won't happen (the money or the housekeeper) but it's fun to dream about.

I can assure you, you're not alone. I think exploding houses is happening everywhere. It's sure happening in Grand Junction.

My biggest disaster area is my dining room table. I can't remember the last time it was clear enough for anyone to actually sit down and eat something.

Probably Christmas. Yeah. I'm pretty sure it was Christmas.

It's a hopeless battle.

That deleted comment? That was me foolishly thinking I can actually type accurately before my second cup of coffee. Sigh.

Hi Meredith-
Thank you so much for your encouraging words on my blog, it meant a lot to hear that someone else has been where I am and has had an awesome ride with the Lord. I'd love to hear the long, good story! :)
I can definitely relate to the house exploding too! It seems to happen overnight! One day it feels like you're holding it all together and the next it seems like it might be easier to just come through with a bulldozer. How does that happen?

The worst is having my toddlers follow me around and undo everything I just did. And you don't even want to see the explosions taking place at our house daily!

My house is on the verge of explosion every day, despite my best efforts. The laundry has a personal vendetta against me...
