Hola!

Greetings from the North Pole.

Seriously, it has been snowing pretty much non-stop since late Thursday night. We are getting slammed. Our weather forecasters hit it on the nose this time.

We had two short breaks from the snow yesterday, and the sun even popped out for an hour yesterday afternoon, but then it started pounding us again.

I'm in my pjs (again) today. I just get up, take a shower, and put a clean pair back on. Why bother getting dressed if I'm not getting out in this mess?

I actually did get out for Bunco last night. The beauty of a neighborhood Bunco group is that your plans cannot be deterred by a winter storm. We all just put our snow boots and parkas on over our pjs (Pajama Bunco--yeah!) and walked down to our neighbor's house. We had a blast...and I so needed a fun night out! Evidently a winter storm can deter prom though. One of the high schools in our town had to cancel theirs. How sad for those kids.

Here are a few pics for those of you (and there are a few of you) who are enjoying this spring snowstorm vicariously.

Poor Jack. I feel so sorry for him when he has to go outside.

This is all fresh snow. I cleared about 8 inches off this bench yesterday afternoon.

I took this pic from inside my garage while I was watching John shovel. The piles on the side of my driveway are pretty impressive.

My front steps are buried under all that snow.

Poor John. I think he's shoveled four times since this all started, and he'll be out there again when it finally stops pouring down (hopefully) later this evening.

So...who wants to come visit next April???

Oh my goodness... I cannot even imagine.

How sad about prom!

I am praying that this storm will pass and melt quickly, and you get to spring SOON.

Don't do shoveling...So glad J seems to be approaching expert status on getting the sidewalk cleared.

Are you tv'd out? Keep baking. Keeps the house warm and the kids happy. Makes a mess, but what else are you going to do????

I can't believe this Meredith, that is CRAZY for April. Is winter like all year round for you guys or something, haha!! When will it finally start warming up for you all? This 70-80 degree we have in Florida right now would certainly melt that snow away in a heart beat!

I'd still visit you!

Oh, I hope the spring comes soon! Hang in there, friend!

We didn't get any snow this year, so I'm a little jealous...but I'd be upset with it now, when I'm so ready for spring. But I totally want to come to PJ bunco! I might make that rule next time I host!

Okay....now I feel sorry for you and all your snow. Because you should be getting to wear flip flops with the rest of us.

And I'll come! Snow or not!!

Unbelieveable, Meredith! Staying inside in PJ's sounds like the ONLY way to go on a day like this. Hmmmm....it also sounds like a good day to make a big pot of soup!

I'm thankful for the moisture, but sick of the snow. You have so much more than us, though! It is amazing the difference about 20 miles makes here. Hoping April (snow) showers bring May flowers!

I was just telling Kenners today that when we lived in Erie we could get slammed with freak snowstorms all the way until the end of April! Feeling for you and hoping this ends soon!!

Well, since I don't "do" snow, I think I'll stay here in the rain of the Puget Sound.

Crazy.
I just now caught up back to Easter, too, and you all looked lovely. :) I almost bought Mikayla Abby's dress! I remember when we lived in Idaho, shaking my head at all the sleeveless Easter dresses...smiled when I saw her sweater.
I love your good attitude, but I hope you get some Spring soon!

I think you covered all 21 Inuit words for snow with those pictures.

(Repeat after me: It will all melt by Wednesday. It will all melt by Wednesday.)

Wow! I can't remember when I have seen that much snow!

I need to find a reason to stay in my PJ's all day...that sounds sooo nice!

I have thought about doing PJ bunco, but have never actually suggested it. Might be worth a shot when I host again in October! :)

I love the snow! It has snowed on my birthday a few times so snow in April is no big deal to me. And Bunco? Oh How I love getting together with the ladies from our church to play bunco. Such a blast!

Love your pics!
