Still...

Guess what is coming down from the sky right now?

S-N-O-W.

It's a four-letter word 'round here now seeing as it $*&@-ed on Saturday, and Tuesday, and is at it again today.

Still wearing coats, still running our heat, still waiting for leaves to show up on my aspen tree and for my iris to come up. Of course, days like today are fewer and fewer and have been sandwiched in between some glorious spring weather!

Believe me, I'm as tired of telling you about our snow as you are of hearing it, but because this is a "web-log", I think it's important to post about the weirdness of a May 15 snow shower so that I can remember the weirdness when I look back through my archives. One day I might not live in Colorado (gasp), and I might actually think that a 38-degree high temp in May sounds lovely.

It really could be worse. In the Pacific Northwest it rains 360 days of the year!

I'm tempted to tell you that it's sunny and 70 here today. In Minnesota.

But I won't.

I think it was May 8th in 8th grade (?1983?), that we had a snow day in Ft.Collins. Goofy.

I love CO's sunny days, but I used to be so frustrated when my tulips would reach their smiling faces toward the sun, only to be squashed and pummeled by a big wet snow.

Feelin' your pain. But it's 70 and sunny in Seattle. Woot Woot! A long time coming, baby!

That makes the AR humidity we've been having seem almost nice...

Snow in May! I did not even know that was possible. Sorry - I know you are tired of it- maybe this week was the last week of snow until November!
