pea green (with envy)

I Currently Envy:

People with iPhones and iPads.
My sweet friend, Carol, sweetly pointed out that Verizon offers similar phones. Uh huh. I know. But we're Apple people. So I wait (rather impatiently) for Apple to break their exclusive contract with AT&T, and for Verizon to offer an iPhone. And the iPad? Pure lust. Have any of you pre-ordered?

People who can shop at Trader Joe's regularly.
Two of my neighbors were in AZ last week and both brought me some really great loot. I'm well stocked again. Thank you C and H.

People who are blessed with high metabolism.
Not fair. Just simply not fair.

People who are good at math.

People with amazing handwriting.
Like my friend, Shannan. (If her recipe intrigues you, you can find it in it's entirety here, along with the recipe for John's favorite chocolate cake.)

and another friend, Kathy.

Seriously, their handwriting should be a downloadable font, don't you agree?

By the way, does anyone know how to convert your writing to a *free* font? I've only found sites that charge a fee.

People who experience spring in the months you're supposed to experience spring (March/April). And people who don't get THREE big snowstorms during spring break. Sheesh.
But let's be clear. I know you'll all be envying ME when it's 70 degrees here in July and you're sweltering in the heat and humidity. And I'm starting to save now for Spring Break 2011. I'm bound and determined to head somewhere warm next March.

I think green is my color. Peace out, peeps.

Here's one link to making a handwriting font: http://kevinandamanda.com/fonts/fontsforpeas/how-to-get-your-handwriting-as-a-font/. I had another one that I used (for free), but can't remember it right now. If I do, I'll send you that link, too. : )

I am lousy at math too. My kids are pretty good at it though so I don't have to help with math homework. That could be good and bad!
I envy people who are good at socializing. I am not so great at that.

I think your handwriting is amazing! I wish mine looked more like it.

I've never been to a Trader Joe's. I'll have to find one someday.

Sorry you've had so much spring break snow - but your summer will be beautiful.

Their handwriting IS amazing! I think mine has gotten worse as I've gotten older:)

I'm so there with you on having Spring in months it should be spring. We didn't get anymore snow though we were predicted to yesterday afternoon. It was cold and windy today. Hoping tomorrow is pretty!

Um, I've seen your handwriting and I clearly remember asking you to journal for me! So don't be green over that one!!

High metabolism? yes. punishable, I think ;)

I must get to Trader Joe's there's one in Atlanta and I've never been..must go see what the fuss is all about.

I love the idea of making own handwriting a font!! I really like your handwriting! I don't think we can like our own. I get compliments on mine sometimes, and I just don't see it.

I have a friend whose handwriting I've envied since 7th grade. Sigh.

My dad's a math teacher (high school and college) and I SUCK at math.

I will envy you this summer. I don't do well when it's past the lower 80's. I would never make it in the south.

I do love my Droid.

Luckily I can get to TJ's in about 25 minutes, so I go usually every other week. Sorry.

Have a great week!

...but not enough to move back there!

You just send me a list for your non-perishables, and I'll do a run for you as often as you need. I go to TJs at least once a week.

Your handwriting is amazing, so stop being envious of others'. That sounded a bit harsh. Please stop being envious of others. ;)

Miso soddy about your spring snow. And the weather anchors are always so jolly when they point out that March and April are the most snowiest months in CO. Whatev. My poor tulips were killed in many a spring storm.

I saw on HLN that Sprint and Verizon may be getting iPhone contracts but Apple hasn't responded on the reports yet...

Hold the phone! Your handwriting rocks, girl!

Right now, I envy people who can sleep on their stomach. :)
