home. happy. tired.

i'm home from my retreat.

i had a wonderful time and got lots accomplished.

the cropping was great but the company was even better.

the mountains were beautiful. and snowy.

the sky was the brilliant Colorado blue that i love.

the camp was awesome and i'd love to go back with my family.

speaking of family...

abbey has a hideous case of pink-eye. i just know her poor eye is going to be sealed shut when she wakes up in the morning.

so i'm adding a doctor visit to my list of *stuff* to do tomorrow.

i am SO very tired and am heading to bed. i'll blog when life returns to normal. whatever that is.

(4 days of school this week and then it's SPRING BREAK!)

I'm glad you had such a good time. I can't wait to hear more details. I hope you have an extra dose of energy this week and I hope Abbey's pink eye gets better.

Sounds like you had a great time! That restful weekend may be just what you needed to get you through this busy week!

Pink eye....yuck. Hope she feels better soon.

Ah, the pink eye. Before I had kids I taught preschool choir for several years at our church. The kids were always climbing all over me, touching my face, giving hugs and kisses. I certainly didn't mind, but my ophthalmologist gave me the award that year for being her oldest patient with the most cases of conjunctivitis. I feel Abbey's pain!

I'm so glad you had such a wonderful weekend! And I'm so glad it's almost spring break for you all!

Pink eye? Welcome home, Momma. :)

So sorry to hear it.

But sounds like your time was all that and a cup of coffee, so I'm glad about that.

4 days? You can do it!

Glad to have you back, but glad you got away:)

I feel like we were on the verge of pinkeye, but it held off. Hopefully hers is gone soon!

I am glad you had a good trip! I am planning to unpack my scrapbooking stuff this week sometime (it has been packed since September)!

I feel your pain about the pink eye, we usually get it in multiples. Hope Abbey is feeling better soon.

I miss those Colorado blue skies. There just isn't anything else like it!

Here's hoping the pink eye stays away from the rest of you-

Just an old Military secret. If you put a little dab of the original version of neosporin (not sure I spelled that right)in her eye that is infected it will be cleared up within 3 days. Tis what we do in this family. Works like a charm! It is a little annoying but works a whole lot faster then the stuff the doctor will prescribe and wont cost you an arm and a leg.

grew up in a military family, Married a marine. It is what they use when they are out in the middle of no where away from civilization. To clear up pink eye. Just put a little dab of neosporin in the eye and it clears up lickity split!

Glad you had a wonderful time. I checked out the camp and it's only about, I'm guessing 50 or so miles from where we have our family campout every July 4th! Isn't that a beautiful drive next to the AK river?
Sorry about having to deal with the pink eye. Bummer.

Oh, poor Abbey - I hope she gets over that quickly - I've had pinkeye so many times and it's no fun.

Glad you had an amazing time, and I hope you took lots of pics to show us! I'll have to check out the camp website - sounds like it might be a good place for us to visit, too.
